Breaking Out Of The Rut

Lately I’ve been in an excercise rut.

My routine is Monday, Wednesday, Friday I get up and hit the gym in the morning and hammer out a strength routine and a little cardio. But since December hit I have lost all motivation. I think it may be because my strength training routine was getting old, or maybe because I wasn’t seeing any results. Also I worked full-time during most of December and I find after work I’m too lazy to get up and go to the gym (the couch does look more appealing!). I feel like sometimes if I’m not paying for a class that I need to show up to I have a hard time getting motivation to go anywhere.

So what can I do to get out of this rut? I’m getting back into Zumba (looove), upping my Yoga, and getting a new strength training routine. I’m super excited! I also have never had a female trainer before so Im looking forward to that.

What do you do to break out of the rut?
